Authorised purpose for distribution of funds

1. DONATIONS TO RECOGNISED CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS (SUCH AS PLUNKET, RED CROSS, CHILD CANCER SOCIETY AND THE LIKE) AND TO BONA FIDE AMATUER SPORTING AND YOUTH ORGANISATIONS WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY TO FURTHER THE OBJECTIVES OF THESE GROUPS. NO DONATIONS AND/OR PAYMENTS TO PROFESSIONAL SPORTS PEOPLE.

2. DONATIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT BY WAY OF GRANTS TO SCHOOLS OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES FOR EQUIPMENT OR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BETTER STUDENT AMENITIES NOT COVERED BY GOVERNMENT FUNDING. ESTABLISHMENT OF STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES OR GRANTS TO ASSIST INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS IN THEIR GENERAL EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT OR FOR THE FURTHERING OF ACADEMIC SPECIALISATION, PROVIDED SUCH STUDENTS ARE SELECTED IN A FAIR AND OPEN MANNER AFTER PUBLIC ADVERTISING.

3. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ANY FUNDS RETAINED FOR DISTRIBUTION TO NATIONAL SOCIETIES OR AGENCIES, FUNDS MUST BE DISTRIBUTED WITHIN THE GENERAL COMMUNITY AREA IN WHICH THEY WERE RAISED. NO PAYMENT, COMMISSION AND/OR ANY OTHER KIND OF FINANCIAL REWARD CAN BE ATTACHED TO AND/OR DEMANDED AS A PRE-CONDITION FOR EITHER:
A) THE ISSUING OF ANY AUTHORISED PURPOSE GRANT APPLICATION FORMS, OR; B) THE PAYMENT OF ANY AUTHORISED PURPOSE GRANTS FROM A SITE.

Complaint Procedure

Should you have a complaint about an application it should be made in writing and addressed to:

The trust will acknowledge receipt of your complaint by mail. Your complaint will be investigated by the Trust Office Holders within 14 days of receipt. The trust will then write to you within 21 days following that investigation informing you of its decision.
